PCB Assembly
Many CEMs today are only interested in high volume PCB assembly. Phoenix Systems will cater for clients with any volume requirement, from single figures to many thousands. This includes all technologies. Our clients are treated to the same high quality service, regardless.
Surface Mount PCB Assembly
Phoenix Systems currently have two surface mount lines with capacity to pick and place up to 20,000 components an hour. The MY9 surface mount machine is equipped with hydra head and has full vision (essential for mounting BGAs) for accurate placement. We can pick and place all current package types down to 0201.
Conventional PCB Assembly
Phoenix Systems have full capability in Conventional or mixed technology Assembly Our IPC-610 trained operators have vast experience in this field and work is carried out in a humidity and air conditioned environment.
To meet the demands of ROHS compliancy, Phoenix Systems has a designated separate area and tooling where all lead-free soldering and assembly is done.
BGA PCB Assembly
Virtually all boards coming through today will have one or more BGA devices on them. Phoenix Systems can pick and place all current BGA packages.
PCB Repair and Modification
Phoenix Systems have all the equipment and skills required to carry out repairs and modifications. This becomes more important as lead free repair requires greater control and ability.
Wire and Cable Harness Assembly
Phoenix Systems produce high quality cable and wire harnesses for all industries. Capable of producing simple to very complex cable harness assemblies in any volume, and can offer a rapid turn-round to meet our customers schedules. All assemblies are manually inspected and electronically tested for continuity, insulation and resistance using our own latest Blackell ATE prior to shipping.
Control Panel Assembly
Phoenix Systems have designated workshops and experienced operators to carry out Control Panel Assembly.
Small Module Assembly
Phoenix Systems have the experienced personnel and equipment to carry out small module assembly.
Full Turnkey Assembly
This has become common place today for Phoenix Systems to carry out the full turnkey assembly for clients. With all the capabilities under one roof this has become an extremely cost effective time saving and logistically sensible solution.
Inspection
Along with dedicated inspection areas and personnel carried out in accordance to IPC-A-610. All bard assemblies undergo AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection). Every board is 100% tested and will check, highlight and record missing, misaligned components. Correct values, orientation and solder shorts all in less than 10 seconds! 100% soldering inspection is carried out manually.
BGA Inspection
For BGA inspection we use our own BGA optical inspection equipment to look for any shorts or soldering problems that may have occurred during assembly. We can provide a BGA X-ray service which is carried out locally and will provide full 3D X-ray inspection.
Test We offer ATE, Function Test, Bespoke Test and ESS. Phoenix Systems employs dedicated Test Diagnostic Technicians. |
